Comment: The quality and price of this USB is going down as one of my all time best purchases. I fully expect it to last a very long time as opposed to the cable that came with my portable external drive. I could buy 7 of them for the price of one at the big retailers. Will definitely use Amazon products again.

Summary: Very good...
Comment: Heavier cable for durability. Good length for using external power source. also quality gold connections.

Summary: Works perfectly with Playstation 3 controller
Comment: I purchased this for an additional (and longer) cable for a Playstation 3 controller. It works perfectly (although I realize now I would have preferred a few feet longer - oh well).
The fact that it comes in Amazon's hassle free packaging is another definite plus, although since the box was rather large, when I received my package in the mail, I thought perhaps it was the Blu-ray movies I'd purchased shaking about.
This is my first AmazonBasics product purchase, but it will definitely not be my last.

Summary: Fantastic, better than other manufacturer's cables
Comment: I use USB to mini-b cables to connect my netbook to my cellphone and use the cellphone as a modem. When I used cables I bought from other manufacturers on Amazon, it would lose connection pretty much every single time I moved the phone or netbook. Never happens with this cable. The gold plating might make it slightly more expensive than the other cables, but to me it's worth it.
My only complaint, if you could even call it that, is the comically large packaging it comes in. 2 cables come in 2 boxes, and both boxes are inside of a larger box, like a dvd-player sized box. That kind of defeats the environmentally friendly aspect of frustration free packaging, but whatever. The cables rock.

Summary: Great Price - Great Product
Comment: I'm still amazed by the pricing of these AmazonBasics cables. The connections are sturdy and the cable is durable.
The price is incredible and the packaging is simple.
My biggest challenge is thinking far enough ahead to order the cable from Amazon. Usually I need a cable RIGHT NOW. But in this market, I'll wait a couple of days for the cable to arrive and save myself a bunch of $$$.
